I can see why everyone loves Maria in New Rochelle so much. We had the most delicious meal last night and because we were eight people, we were able to try many things. I’ll be dreaming about the eggplant fries, yellowfin tuna, beans under my octopus and farro under the fish… until I get there again and I also look forward to trying more dishes that you guys recommended. More info under photos. Also… I think they own Pop’s Espresso that is recommended here al the time. Can’t wait to try one day as well. Definitely 5 stars!! Cute small and romantic venue just perfect for a romantic date! A Michelin star btw! The device was good the food just outstanding! The italian donut is fire; not too sweet, not plain and not too sugary is perfect 🔥; you must try it. The octopus was cooked to perfection but I didn’t like was on a bed of beans; but I ate it either way. As an Appetizer we had the meatballs they were juicy And tasty and also Baked clams. Reservation is strongly recommended for weekends. My experience overall is rated 10/10
Everything we got was fantastic: white bean & artichoke salad was simple and delicious, boquerones were great, the branzino was PERFECT and the black cod was also top-notch. Can't wait to go back and order all new dishes. We loved it!
Came for birthday night. Food was great, service was good and took us for a walk in. They were sweet and accommodating. Thank you for helping me make a birthday night more special. No picture of food but they were good.
Friendly and attentive service. They don’t have a kids menu but kindly accommodated my daughter with an off menu request. I had the spinach gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream which was divine! My husband had the pork chop parmigiana which he also loved. We both had the margarita from the cocktail menu, 5 stars! Overall, a great spot with an intimate setting perfect for families, date night, or a casual outing with friends. I would definitely go back.
We were in town for a wedding. I checked out the Michelin Guide to pick out a place to eat and am so happy we came here! The food was absolutely incredible. They were also very accommodating of my food allergies. Wish we lived close by so we could come here more often!
I’ve been coming to Maria since they first opened, and it’s been one of my favorite restaurants ever since. The food, service, and atmosphere have always been exceptional, which is exactly why my wife and I chose to celebrate our wedding there. What they did for our wedding was on another level. Every detail was handled flawlessly, the staff was warm and attentive, and they made the entire evening feel effortless. Our guests are still talking about the food and the incredible service. A heartfelt thank you to Gio and the entire team for helping make one of the most important days of our lives truly unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend Maria more highly. If I could give more stars I would!
Went for a job dinner and it was perfect. The appetizers and entrees were all so good. The queen margarita with tequila was perfect. The strawberry dannolo was a great way to end the night.
Such a hidden gem! Beautiful decor! And staff that you just want to be friends with! Loved everything including the extra dirty gin martini. The calamari was the stepping stone into Italy... Right before the pasta, which reminded me of my summer nights dining in Tuscany. I even had a little leftover and still enjoyed it as a snack 3 days later... absolutely delicious! Thank you for a great meal! Will be back!
